.The Story So Far

In September 2021 the first KeepFit competition, a 3.5 km marathon challenge was organized by KeepFit with PolyGuard. the maiden event attracted over 200 participants state wide. At the event, The Benue State Commissioner for Lands, Survey and Solid Minerals, Hon. Bernard Unenge while flagging off the maiden event, expressed the State Government’s readiness to partner any individual or organization with an initiative that would create Jobs and get Benue Youths off the streets.  

As part of its commitment to promoting a healthy and sustainable lifestyle, KeepFit partnered with her HRM Espiranza, the face of Global Queen in her “keep Makurdi clean!” initiative.

Participants where transported to the Hungwa Torkula in Benue State. Where they successfully powered through the scenic routes, taking in sights and sounds of Torkula as they completed the 3.5 kilometer dash back challenge from the main road, through the newly minted access routes and to the mining site. 

We had an exciting partnership with Valiant Hikers Abuja that brought together two like minded groups passionate about promoting fitness, adventure and community engagement. Together we had a series of hiking and out door events both in Abuja and Makurdi, Benue.
